I recently stayed at this hotel, and while the view from my room was fantastic and the location was super convenient for visiting the pilgrimage sites, my experience was marred by the room's cramped conditions and lack of air conditioning. The staff was a mixed bag; some were very helpful, while others were quite rude. Overall, it offered good value for money, but there are definitely improvements to be made.
Rooms
5.0
The room was supposed to be a three-bed room, but it turned out to be cramped with only two beds and an extra one, which made it uncomfortable for a tall guest. We couldn't even open the balcony doors because of the tight space.
Service
6.0
I found some staff members to be extremely rude and abrasive, which was disappointing. However, others were very helpful and attentive, keeping the hotel spotless.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is great, just a five-minute walk to the Grotto, with a fantastic panoramic view over the Gave River and the mountains. It was easy to return to rest in between activities at the sanctuary.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast could use significant improvement. The selection included hard bread, tired pastries, and limited options that didn't seem fresh.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities are basic and could benefit from updates, especially considering the lack of air conditioning, which was a challenge during the hot July weather.

Overall, my stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the location was fantastic with breathtaking views of the mountains and the Gave River, the rooms were a bit cramped and suffered from an unpleasant smell. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, making my visit much more enjoyable. However, the dining options were quite limited, and I wished for more variety during breakfast. Despite these drawbacks, I found it to be good value for money, especially given its proximity to local attractions.
Rooms

The room was clean but very basic. It was advertised as a three-bed room, but it actually felt more cramped due to the extra bed. There was a smelly issue coming from the sewers, and I couldn’t open the balcony doors because the room was too small. The view, however, was fantastic.
Service
9.0
The staff were exceptionally kind and very helpful. Their English was quite good, and they made sure my stay was comfortable. The hotel was spotless, and I really appreciated their level of service.

The hotel has a wonderful location, overlooking the stunning panoramic views of the Gave River and the mountains. Being close to the sanctuary made it easy for me to return and rest in between my activities.
Dining

The breakfast options were quite limited and repetitive. I found myself eating the same cereal, baguettes, and ham every day, which was a bit disappointing.
Facilities

While the facilities were decent, the lack of air conditioning was a bit of a downside during the hot July days.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. On the plus side, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and the location was fantastic with a beautiful view. However, the rooms were a bit cramped, particularly for three guests, and the dining options left a lot to be desired. Overall, it was good value for money, but improvements are needed in certain areas.
Rooms

The room was supposed to be a three-bed setup, but it felt cramped with just two beds and an extra one. It looked newly revamped, but the separate bathroom setup and lack of air conditioning made it sticky in July. Also, there was an unpleasant smell from the sewers at times.
Service

The service was top-notch! The staff was wonderfully kind and helpful to us, and their English was quite good. I felt like they really cared about making our stay enjoyable.
Location

The location was fantastic, just five minutes away from the Grotto, with stunning views overlooking the Gave River and the mountains in the distance. It was very convenient for visiting the main attractions.
Dining

Breakfast could definitely use some improvement. It was just hard bread, a soggy croissant, and some pre-packaged jams, which didn’t really excite me. I didn’t have dinner at the hotel, so I can't comment on that.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel facilities were quite basic. I didn't see any major amenities, which made me feel like there could be more available, especially considering the location.

The hotel has a fantastic location overlooking the river and beautiful views, making my stay quite memorable. The service was really friendly and helpful, but I found the rooms to be quite outdated and cramped, especially for the price. The lack of air conditioning made it uncomfortable during the hot July weather, and the dining options were a bit underwhelming, not justifying the cost. The hotel does have some perks, like the scenic views and helpful staff.

I stayed at this hotel and found it to be a mixed experience. While the cleanliness and helpful staff were definite highlights, the room I had was a bit cramped and lacked proper ventilation, which made the heat in July quite uncomfortable. The location was convenient for visiting the Grotto, and I appreciated the scenic view. However, the breakfast offerings left much to be desired, and overall, I think there’s room for improvement.

The room was supposed to be a three-bed setup, but it actually felt cramped with just two beds and an extra bed squeezed in. It did not have air conditioning, which was tough during the hot weather, and we couldn't open the balcony doors due to the lack of space. However, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were decent.
